Favorite Products for a Healthy, Beautiful Smile!

If you've noticed the cute little icon that's always at the very bottom of my blog, you probably know that I am a member of a website called Influenster.  Hence, the cute little icon in this post.  I've stated it on Twitter before, but I haven't posted it on my blog.  So, if you don't know about Influenster it's a website to which you link your social networks, blogs, etc. and review products or answer questions on the site.  Depending on how influential you are, you may be eligible to receive free products to test.

                           

So, I was sent the Colgate SlimSoft Voxbox complimentary from Influenster.  It contained a Colgate SlimSoft toothbrush, Colgate Total Advanced Whitening toothpaste, and a Colgate Total Advanced Pro-Shield mouthwash.  I was pretty excited to receive it because it was my first VoxBox from Influenster.  I made a video unboxing the products if you'd like to watch that here or keep reading to find out more about the products.





I have to say that I am really impressed with the products.  At first I was kind of thinking like "it's a toothbrush, how great can it be?" and I'm sure plenty of you reading this are thinking that, too.  The product is a soft toothbrush and before receiving it I always used medium toothbrushes just because I felt like they gave my teeth a better clean feeling than the soft did.  This toothbrush, however, cleans very well.  The bristles are thin which makes it easier to clean in between the teeth in places that are hard to reach with other toothbrushes.

I also really like the toothpaste and mouthwash.  Obviously besides having a good toothbrush, using a good toothpaste is important if you want to have that clean feeling after brushing your teeth.  I know it sounds weird, but I'm a bit picky when it comes to the texture of toothpastes.  Some are too gel-like and others seem almost powdery.  The Colgate Total Advanced Whitening toothpaste is the perfect texture for me.  After brushing my teeth, I always use mouthwash.  The Colgate Total Advance Pro-Shield mouthwash is my new favorite.  The taste isn't overpowering and I really like that it's alcohol-free because it doesn't give that stinging or burning sensation that some mouthwashes with alcohol tend to do.  Also, it keeps my breath fresh all morning (until I eat lunch..haha).

I was thoroughly impressed with the products I received in my Colgate SlimSoft VoxBox from Influenster.  The quality of the products far exceeded my expectations.  I would definitely recommend them and buy them for myself when I run out of the samples.  So big shoutouts to both Colgate and Influenster for hooking me up!
