Rose Gold & Mixing Metals

Rose Gold & Mixing Metals

Rose Gold & Mixing Metals by beinspiredbyme featuring an infinity charm

What's my current favorite trend?  Rose gold.  We're seeing this everywhere from major designers like Michael Kors to small boutique shops.  Pictured above is an example of how to rock rose gold.  If you'd like to purchase any of the above items, they're linked at the bottom of this post.
I took a very plain outfit, simple white shirt and denim skinnies and made it ultra fab through layering and rose gold accents.  We know that rose gold itself is hot, but to keep this look completely stylish, I used a few trendy techniques.

Layering jewelry is a huge right now, but you've got to know how to do it right.  For this look, I layered two delicate necklaces of different lengths to create an elegant, but trendy look.  Stacking bracelets is another form of layering trending right now.  For this look, however, I used a large single bracelet that still gives the layering effect.

Statement jewelry is another trend.  I wanted to keep this look pretty simple, so I used the bracelet as a statement piece.  It is eye catching and ties the outfit all together.

Why does it tie the outfit together?  Two words: mixed metals.  Mixed metals are HOT!  Rose gold creates the perfect buffer when combining metals.  It can be worn with gold or silver.. or both.  I layered a rose gold necklace with a gold necklace.  So, the gold, rose gold, and silver bracelet polish off the look.

Infinity jewelry is another trend right now, as well as any other delicate icon jewelry.  These may include small crosses, animal pieces, or hearts.  If you want more infinity inspiration, here's another way to rock it.

Finally, I finished this look with a rose gold flat sandal and rose gold sunglasses.

Leave me a comment telling me your favorite trend from this look, or post a link showing how you rock one or more of these!

Be inspired & stay fabulous!
